どうも、パーソナリティのまこです。
今回は真夏のホラー特集ということで『#スリーピー・ホロウ』を鑑賞しました。
流石に見事な映像と美術。
ティム・バートンの世界観が実写で見事に表現されています。
でもね、まことしてはこの映画、なんだか面白くないの。
批判するなら必ずその理由を説明しなきゃいけないよね。
ということでいまいち物足りなく感じてしまう原因がどこにあるのか考察してみました。
作品が大好きな方はかえって聞かないほうがいいかもしれません。
でもティムが大好きな僕としてはもう少しこう、あるだろうと思ってしまったんだよね。
設定的に「科学VS信仰」みたいな世界が描かれるんだろうなって思ってたんだよなぁ。

Hey, it’s Mako, your movie-talk buddy.
For this round of our summer horror series, I watched #SleepyHollow.
And yeah—the visuals and set design are absolutely stunning. Tim Burton’s world really does come alive in live action.
But… here’s the thing. For me, the movie just wasn’t that fun.
And if you’re gonna critique something, you owe it an explanation, right?
So I dug into why exactly it felt a bit underwhelming.
Honestly, if you’re a hardcore fan of this film, you might not want to listen—this episode may sting a little.
Still, as someone who genuinely loves Tim, I just couldn’t help but feel like there should’ve been… more.
I mean, with a setup like this, I really thought we’d be seeing a world shaped around “Science vs. Faith.”
Anyway, enough preamble—let’s get into it.
