As I stood there watching the characters in my dream, like watching scenes unfold on a cinematic reel, I felt a presence to my right. A shadow appeared out of the corner of my eye, and there he was. As though he had descended gracefully from the heavens to join me in the theater of my subconscious, there my father stood with a radiating smile of warmth, bringing sunshine to my heart. As my heart skipped a beat, full of elation, I stretched out my arm to lock it in with his and nestled my head against his shoulder, seeking comfort and closeness in this presence. As expected, he welcomed me into his warm embrace, our souls reunited once again, for the first time in a long time.
Suddenly, the reel flickered, creating a dance of light and shadows, unveiling a different scene where we were now the main characters of the movie. Seated side by side, immersed in a deep conversation, I quickly noted the difference in his presence. Typically a visit from my father is so fleeting, like a moment lingering on the periphery of my memory. No, his presence was not fleeting, it was long-lasting, intending to leave a lasting imprint etched in the fabric of my memory.
Waking from my dream felt like emerging from a surreal world. As reality gently reasserted it's presence, I was reminded of the significance of the day. It was 11/11. Of course my father came to me in the most significant way. I wouldn't have expected it any other way. You see, his spiritual presence has always been associated with the time 11:11. The lasting imprint he left etched in the fabric of my memory was intended to be symbolically powerful and spiritually aligned. And that it was.
In this solo episode, I talk about the significance of this dream. I speak from my heart, sharing with you all the transition I am currently in, personally and professionally. I recap significant moments from the last year, that when reflected on in hindsight, the manifestation of these events becomes crystal clear. The Universe is working WITH me, with my dreams and desires, and my father came to me in the most special and symbolic way to remind me to keep going. Everything is happening just as it is meant to. I am in alignment.
And with that, I announce that change is coming to the podcast. I am not sure what this change will look like just yet, that is still something I am working on uncovering. I birthed this podcast on January 1st, 2023, in honor of my father. As we approach the 1 year anniversary - paired with the beautiful and iconic appearance of my father in my dreams - it is only fitting that I hold tribute in his honor and continue to share with you all my journey as it continues to unfold in the most beautiful and fateful way.
