Red Light Exposé is an international grassroots survivor-led circle seeking to combat “sex work” ideology. We aim to raise awareness of the harms of commercializing sex, and the industries (prostitution, porn, stripping, BDSM/kink) that exploit socioeconomically marginalized people, particularly women and girls. We support the adoption of Equality Model legislation worldwide while calling for an improvement in social security. Through honest, in-depth conversations we aim to elevate voices that are often ignored and silenced, moving us toward healthier and safer societies for all people.

Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls: A Mother’s Love & Loss with Kathy King

For Red Dress Day, observed on May 5th, April-Eve Wiberg interviews Kathy King, mother of Cara King, one of Canada’s thousands of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls. They speak about the systemic sexual exploitation resulting from colonialism, intergenerational trauma, poverty, addiction, and failing institutions, as well as the survivor and family-led movement fighting back.
