In this episode, Shelley, Erin, and special guest, Leslie, discuss all of the Batwoman news we have received over the summer leading up to the casting of Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder, Batwoman’s new lead. We are thrilled about the casting of Javicia Leslie, but we have some pretty strong concerns about Ryan Wilder’s character description. We discuss where the story might go with Ryan, what her presence means for the show’s supporting characters, and whether we think Kate might eventually come back with a new face. After our discussion on Batwoman, we quickly descend into a rabbit hole (no pun intended) about all of the Arrowverse decisions we didn’t love this season. It’s a good time, y’all.
