He is one of the founders of WorldStartup and dedicated to supporting founders in building successful ventures with the purpose of contributing to society and nature, accelerating the transition to more sustainable and inclusive societies. Gerrit Jan has 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, successfully starting various businesses on the intersection of government, cities, and innovation. Gerrit Jan studied at the Technical University of Delft and works and lives in The Hague, The Netherlands, a town by many referred to as Impact City. He also founded the international Tech Culture festival Border Sessions.
