Thanos is a supervillain in the Marvel universe who believes that the only way to cure overpopulation and the problems caused by it, is to randomly eliminate half of the population. We debate the ethics behind it, evaluate if there is some truth in the matter, and if it did happen, would “the sun would truly dawn on a grateful universe”. We discuss it using examples, analogies and brainstorm other methods to battle the problem.
