Realising Your Potential In Conversation with Captain of the Wallaroos, Grace Hamilton

In this week’s show, Anj talks to Rugby ace Grace Hamilton.  Grace is a New South Wales native who grew up on a farm where sport was a permanent fixture. She began playing Rugby at University as a way of making friends and now represents her country as the Captain of the Australian Women’s Rugby Union Team... she still gets goosebumps thinking about the time she was invited to represent her country in a sport she loves.

This episode looks at what it means to be a woman in high level sport, and the hope for greater equality across men’s and women’s rugby.  Grace shares her thoughts on what makes a good team and coach, the importance of family support, and how mutual respect and care creates high performance teams. Grace talks about balancing her sporting career with her day job in sports administration and you’ll also hear some great tips for bringing daily exercise and movement into your workplace.
