The Walk 2022 - Close the Gap

On this week's episode of "More Than A Walk", we welcome Marlon Platt, the Director of Community Partnerships, and Keira Chatman, the Director of Operations, both from the AA Male Wellness Agency.

On "More Than A Walk", we often talk about how the Agency does so much more than JUST the Walk, because we provide year-round programming to close the health disparity gaps in our community. However, since we are A MONTH away from the Walk that started it all, we felt it would be a good time to talk at length about our signature event.

Listen in as we breakdown the history of the walk, how and why we started walking, what goes on at the Walk and what it takes to get 40,000 people out to an event like this. Tune in to find out exactly why we say "we are saving black men's lives".
