Prayer of Good Courage:
O God, you have called your servants to ventures of which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrodden, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us, and your love supporting us, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

As we wrap up the series on the Lord’s Prayer, the sermon notes the variety of prayers that were gathered over the last two months. Over a thousand individual prayers were submitted by our congregation, but that’s just a drop in the bucket of human conversation with God. Prayer can be seen as simply -paying attention – to the world around you. Your attention is limited. The good news is that God has unlimited attention for you and your particular circumstances, and for everyone else too.
This message is brought to us by Pastor Sarah. The Old Testament reading is from !Kings, Chapter 8, Verses 27 - 30. The New Testament lesson is from Ephesians, Chapter 1, Verses 15 - 19.
