Rocio Wanninkhof, 19yo, was murdered in 1999 in Spain. She went to meet her boyfriend and was heading back home. This case was covered by the media who quickly portrayed Dolores Vazquez as the "lesbian evil" who killed her. Dolores had a romantic relationship with Rocio's mom. Then another murder occurred 4 years after; Sonia Carabantes, 17yo, was found dead in 2003. She disappeared one day after returning home. This time, DNA proof would link another suspect... who was eventually the killer of noth Rocio and Sonia. - New documentary about this case is on Netflix "Murder by the Coast".
