An abusive childhood, a toxic relationship with his mom, might have led to 10 murders. Edmund was locked up in the basement when he was a kid, and he was terrified of the rats. Edmund's anger towards his mother grew, and he would take it out on animals. Like when he buried a cat alive, before digging up his body and decapitating it. Childhood trauma does not make a serial killer, I believe one is born psychopath and a bad childhood then might instigate dark passions, like killing. Let's dive in...
