Weddings in South Korea can look like business deals. It's normal to give money to the bride and groom. The couple might be sad if they do not get enough money from a person. They might think the person does not like them. Yet, some guests are not comfortable with giving lots of money if they don't know the couple well. The weddings are beautiful but expensive because couples feel pressure from other people. They are also very quick. People from different countries are surprised by this.
