Welcome to another read-aloud! This week we read "Pink is for Boys" by Robb Pearlman and Eda Kaban. In honor of Pride month, we are choosing books with LGBTQ+ theme.
đ¨ "Pink is for Boys" is a great way to read about colors while also moving away from the idea that colors should be gendered.â
At Talk Time Boston, we are committed to defending the rights of the LGBTQ+ community and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment at our practice. As allies, we are still learning and welcome feedback, suggestions, and respectful criticism â in the comments or private messages at any time We are also mindful that it should not be the work of LGBTQ+ individuals to educate us and so we continue to prioritize our own education about how we can best support LGBTQ+ individuals and, especially, our LGBTQ+ students.â
