In this episode, Shaykh Yusuf Weltch begins by discussing the famous hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace) in which he says: “The Religion is Sincere Concern.” Shaykh Yusuf explains what is meant by sincere concern, and how those missing out on this sincere concern are in need to purify their heart.
Shaykh Yusuf goes on to expound on two destructive traits envy and hatred, and how these two traits ruin one’s good deeds, and they cloud the heart. Shaykh Yusuf ends by giving timely advice on how to rid one’s self of these two blameworthy traits of envy and hatred. That is to pray for the one who one is envious of or have hatred toward.
