The podcast where we talk about how we'd rather be playing games than...
We are hitting the ground running with our #NoNewGames2018 resolution. All told, the three of us finished five different games! And we played many more, and we're not even done with January here! We've got some overlap in these games, so there's plenty to talk about. Not the least of which is the game all three of us finished, What Remains of Edith Finch, developed by Giant Sparrow. We talk a little about it at the start, but then we dive into a deep spoiler-filled discussion at the very end of the episode. So if you haven't played it and you want to play it, stop when we sign off at the 1:09:15 mark. If you haven't played it and you don't plan to, then come along for the ride. It's well worth it!
Aside from Edith Finch, we have a bunch of news to cover! How cool does that Nintendo Labo look? Does playing the Metal Gear Survive beta make you feel like you're cheating on Kojima? Are you ready to play Dark Souls on the toilet? We answer all those questions, so if you have any others ask away at questions@ratherbecast.com.
And that's not even all! This week also marks the return of Backlog Roulette! How long has it been? This time we're going to take it a little easy and roll for just one game and that will be the next game that all three of us will be playing. We'll ramp it up later on if we can at least handle this one.
And that should do it for episode 18. See you in two weeks, and until then tweet us at @rbpcast!
