Join us in discussing careers and women in healthcare. Tina Finnegan, Associate Director of Career Communities, speaks with Professor Mona Al-Amin, previous Chair of the Healthcare Administration Department from 2021-2022, in this insightful interview. Professor Al-Amin has a Master of Public Health and a Ph.D. in Risk, Insurance, and Healthcare Management. She spent the majority of her career researching hospital performance. She has recently published two papers on the factors that determined which hospitals had lower COVID-19 mortality rates. She currently teaches "Heath Systems I" and "Healthcare Operations Management and Performance Improvement"  at Suffolk University and is also currently serving as the co-chair of the American College of Healthcare Executives Higher Learning Network.
