In the midst of a week of chaos in our culture, we are reminded that grief and hope can be intertwined ( 1 Thess 4:13). As we grieve with hope, the church becomes of a guide to the world of how to be unified in Jesus rather than weaponizing grief to destroy others.

Grief 

·      John 11:35 Jesus wept.

·      Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted

·      Psalm 56:8 You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle.

·      Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Hope

·      Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.“Behold, I am making all things new.”
