Season 2, Episode 27:
This one is a little disorganized and a little personal. I am mostly thinking through things in the movement. This discussion/unfolding of thought comes in response to the films Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) and Scream (1996). Btw for those curious, according to @jstoobs, the closest teen horror film to representing millennials is Jennifer's Body. Read more about that by checking out the link to the website down below.
Three cool reviews/analyses that I reference (in no particular order):
1. compares both films, describes them as generation-defining and talks about the fear of lack of apathy vs the fear of lack of empathy - @jstoobs (on TikTok)
2. clarifies how the BBB film is actually a satirical whodunit that critiques and welcomes Gen Z - "Bodies Bodies Bodies - Movie Review" by Chris Stuckmann (on Youtube)
3. discusses how the film is clever in portraying its themes and how the plot twist helps cement those themes - " Bodies Bodies Bodies is Quietly Genius I Explained " by Karsten Runquist
