Waqar Zaidi is Associate Professor of History at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at LUMS. He was recently a Member at the School of Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, and Verville Fellow at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Washington, DC. His research focuses on the relationship(s) between technology and international relations in the twentieth century. Current research interests include scientific and technological internationalism, aviation, atomic energy, arms control, and A.I. His first book, titled ๐๐ฆ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ๐ช๐ค๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ช๐ด๐ฎ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐ฐ๐ณ๐ญ๐ฅ ๐๐ณ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ณ: ๐๐ท๐ช๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ, ๐๐ต๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ช๐ค ๐๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ณ๐จ๐บ, ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ๐ค๐ฉ ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ค๐ฆ 1920-50, was published with Cambridge University Press in 2021. The book was awarded the 2022 International Committee for the History of Technology (ICOHTEC) Turriano Prize for the best book in the history of technology. Nauman Faizi is Assistant Professor of Religion at LUMS University, Lahore. His research interests include philosophy of religion, philosophical and scriptural hermeneutics, semiotics, and questions at the interface of religion and modernity.
