Come along as we vent our spleens about events of the day. We'll discuss subjects as diverse as why Brexit caused a fuel shortage in Lebanon. Which politician could best serve their countries by retiring? Why 9mm versus .45 ACP is the wrong question. How, after 116 years of business, Harley Davidson has only just started making decent motorcycles? Electricity is cool but are batteries really the future? Do women even like men anymore? In truth we're just 3 people with disparate backgrounds and experience trying, in good faith, to use those differences to make sense of this mad mad mad world

How Do You Decide Who to Trust

It's just Paddy and Steve today. Unfortunately Trent was unable to join us.

Today we're talking about what happens when 2 outlets that I follow and support financially end up at odds with each other.

Specifically, Daryl Cooper, who hosts the MartyrMade podcast, which I have recommended on this show, appeared on Tucker Carlson's X show. During that 2 hour plus appearance, he made some statements about some events in World War II that are contrary to the accepted history of those events.

This did not go unnoticed by another outlet that I subscribe to, The Free Press.

They published 4 rebuttals by:

Paddy helps me figure out whether I've been in the thrall of a Nazi Charlatan or not, though we didn't come to a conclusion about what I should do about it. Then we talked about some recent German election results and what they might mean for the wider world going forward.
