This is a beautiful conversation with the delightful Samir, a friend I made in Hiriketiya last year who came back for a month in March.
He has incredible devotion and dedication to his daily movement and meditation practices, and we wanted to explore how to create an 82-year old version of us that is still as full of vitality, energy, passion and function as the present-day version of us.
And if creating an exceptional 82 year old version of us requires daily commitment and devotion to our practices from TODAY (and every day moving forward), how can we actually fall in love with these things so that they're something we LOVE and enjoy instead of an annoying chore? And on top of that, how do we navigate changes in lifestyle, hobbies, living places over those years with the right balance of discipline and flexibility?!
I love these conversations so much, I hope you enjoy them too!
