06- Understanding the Divine Command-Non-Muslims Entering the Sacred Mosque – Shaykh Faraz Rabbani
In this important Qur'an Circle Shaykh Faraz Rabbani will give key principles in explaining Non- Muslims entering the Sacred Precinct. On this issue Allah says:
O, believers! Indeed, the polytheists are spiritually impure, so they should not approach the Sacred Mosque after this year. If you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you out of His bounty, if He wills. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the tax, willingly submitting, fully humbled. (Qur’an 9:28-29)
Shaykh Faraz explains what does it mean that the polytheists are impure. It is that their incorrect beliefs are vile, and displeasing to Allah. He goes on to remind the believers that one deals with people on the basis of good character while upholding justice at the same time. One gives everyone their full rights explains Shaykh Faraz.
