I recently watched my son and his hockey team fight to come back in a game they were trailing 2-5. When they celebrated his teammate scoring a goal, bringing them to 3-5, I was shocked to hear a man cheering for the other team tell my son's team to stop celebrating. When I questioned his comment he said they "shouldn't celebrate when they are behind."
I couldn't disagree more. I think this is the most important time to celebrate. It's where we find energy to keep going. It's where we create motivation and momentum and more importantly, it's where we build belief in ourselves and what is possible - on the ice and in weight loss.
