Breaking Barriers: In-Depth with the Queer Black Women Alliance

On this weeks episode of Queertowne, Mase and Kristen sit down for an intimate and thoughtful conversation with Nekaybaw and Hadassa, board members of Queer Black Women Alliance. Founded in 2021, QBWA is a non-profit organization providing a safe space for building healthy friendships and community, through social gatherings and community outreach. The org encourages overall wellness through mental health awareness and counseling resources, and supports queer black women in pursuing entrepreneurship and higher education throughout Central Texas. We loved learning more about the great work they're doing and think y'all will too.

Note: This conversation explores topics of discrimination and violence against black women, so please be mindful that we are offering a *content warning* for this episode.
