Tory Whanau Pakakohe and Ngā Ruahine. Tory is Mayor of Wellington, was Parliamentary chief of staff for the Green Party. She has a Batchelor of Arts and a dog called Teddy. We get stuck right into the life of being the first Māori mayor in Aotearoa New Zealand and what comes with that. The pressure to perform and be her own person, how we have to keep fighting and how alcohol played a role in her self care.
