Quarter-Life Questions - adulting made easy
Grace McIntosh
24 episodes

Hey and welcome to Quarter Life Questions - the podcast that makes adulting a little less confusing.

Hosted by Grace McIntosh (a fellow twenty-something who's just trying to figure it all out), this weekly show dives into the big and small questions we all have in our twenties - from money and careers to relationships and mental health.

There’s no manual for adulthood (sadly), but this might be the next best thing.

Each episode features honest chats, expert advice, and zero fluff. Just practical answers to the questions we were never taught in school but now need desperately.

Got a QLQ of your own? Send Grace a message. It's @gracemcintosh1 on Instagram or @gracemcintosh_ on TikTok.

New episodes drop every Wednesday.

Moving Abroad in Your 20s: How to Find a Job, Make Friends & Adjust to a New Culture with Naomi Cambridge

Moving abroad sounds exciting, but let’s be honest — it also sounds really overwhelming. Between finding work, making new friends, and adjusting to a totally different culture, where do you even start?

I haven’t done it myself (yet!), but I’ve always wondered how people make it work. So this week, I’m chatting to someone who has done exactly that.

Meet Naomi Cambridge, a fellow podcast host and all-round lovely person  who moved from Barbados to England just over a year ago. She shares her honest experience of navigating culture shock, finding a job, and learning to feel at home in a completely new place.

✨ In this episode, we cover:

  • The emotional roller-coaster of starting over in a new country
  • How Naomi found work and adjusted to a new working culture
  • Dealing with homesickness
  • What the phrase “tuck in” means and how it’s helped Naomi

💬 More about Naomi Cambridge:

Naomi hosts her own podcast called Notes and Quotes. She unpacks meaningful quotes and uses them as a catalyst to spark conversations about a whole range of topics from navigating life in your 20s to social justice to sustainability staying grounded through it all. Go check her out on socials — she’s an absolute gem!
