Team The Autonomous Woman discusses a sensitive and important topic: gender-based violence against women in Yemen, and how this violence has been affected by the ongoing war in the country. Since the beginning of the conflict in Yemen, women have witnessed a significant increase in the levels of violence they experience based on their gender. This violence includes domestic violence, early marriage, sexual assault, and discrimination. In this episode, the team will explore the challenges that women face in Yemen due to this violence and highlight the impact of the ongoing war on exacerbating this problem. They will also discuss the efforts made by local and international organizations to combat this violence and support women. With comprehensive research and personal stories, this episode promises to be a compelling and eye-opening discussion on a topic that demands urgent attention.
