In this remastered legacy episode, I revisit one of my earliest and most meaningful recordings — “How Do I Survive the Disability Process?”

More than a decade ago, I created this conversation to speak directly to those struggling through the long and often frustrating journey of applying for Social Security Disability benefits. The truth is, the process can be overwhelming — emotionally, financially, and mentally. But with the right mindset and preparation, you can make it through.

In this special edition, I walk you through 12 key steps designed to help you stay grounded and proactive while you wait — from managing your expectations and organizing your resources, to keeping SSA updated and reaching out for community support when needed.

Even though this episode was first recorded in 2013, the advice still holds true today. Whether you’re applying for the first time or stuck waiting for an appeal, this episode offers clarity, compassion, and practical survival strategies.

🔊 This is remastered legacy content from my early YouTube series, part of my continuing effort to preserve and share timeless insights for those navigating the Social Security Disability system.
