The Labadie Ameren Plant is apart of a new EPA proposal that allows the plant to meet air quality standards. Last year, the plant was under scrutiny because there was not enough data collected to ensure standards were met. I met with the EPA and others to discuss why there was a change in decision-making and the effects sulfur dioxide can have on the public.
