My guest is Dr. Gitika Talwar, a Community-Clinical Psychologist in the state of Washington. She earned a Masters Degree in Social Psychology from University of Mumbai, and earned her Ph.D. in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.
As a South Asian Community-Clinical Psychologist, “Dr. Gee” focuses on decolonization and liberation. She is interested in holistic wellbeing, disrupting the cultural appropriation of mindfulness, decolonizing mental health while also reclaiming and celebrating ways to integrate heritage culture in her clinical practice.
