Rachel Hill is a director at the Charity BEfriend, their core mission is to help people who are isolated and homebound who have no support. They now face an unprecedented challenge of providing support whilst in lockdown.

They’ve been running for over 25 years providing companionship for people who would otherwise have nobody else, and for the first time they’re having to change their whole model.

In this episode of The New Normal, Rachel talks about having to tell the people that they’ll stop receiving face to face visits and how BEfriends’ emergency shopping service has raised over £2,200.
