Episode 104 - True Crime - If I Can't Have You - The Disappearance of Susan Powell - Author Rebecca Morris

What happened to Susan Powell? Did she simply seize her moment to escape a bad marriage while her husband and children were out camping, or was it something else? Her husband Josh was erratic and disinterested in the efforts to locate his wife after her disappearance, he did not respond to inquiries from authorities and actually moved out of state less than a month after Susan went missing...were these the actions of a jilted lover upset about being abandoned, or the movements of a potential murderer trying to escape?

Author and investigative reporter Rebecca Morris joins the podcast to discuss the tragic story of Susan Powell's disappearance and ultimate murder suicide of her children and husband and the breakdowns along the way in the criminal justice system and child welfare that led to this terrible outcome.
