My name is Oliver Laurence,
I spent over twelve years as a police officer serving in some of the harshest environments Australia has to offer, now working as a Senior Investigator - Security, Intelligence and Crisis Management expert in London, I’ve had the chance to meet and speak with some of the men and women of law enforcement who found themselves at the frontline of the world’s most infamous investigations.
I'll chat with the men and women on the front line of events such as 9/11 to the investigation into Jimmy Saville, taking down the 'Teflon Don' John Gotti and even having to pull the trigger to stop a terrorist on a murderous rampage on the streets of London.
I’ll sit down with these brave men and women to hear their first-hand accounts of these events and how they got there.

Dr Sohom Das (MBChB, BSc, MSc, MRCPsych) is an NHS doctor, Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist and YouTuber, presenter and author who lives and works in London. Sohom has also made several media appearances on radio and television programes including guesting on numerous podcasts from comedy to true crime. He has even done several dozen stand-up gigs.
Sohom’s YouTube channel, named ‘A Psych for Sore Minds’, is where he dissects a variety of mental health issues and offers his own professional opinions. Some episodes are related to offending, such as diagnosing and working with psychopaths, prisoners faking mental illness and his personal analysis of high-profile mentally ill criminals (such as Jimmy Savile). Other videos address more common psychiatric issues, such as exploring individual diagnoses, the process of being sectioned, life on a psychiatric unit.
Sohom has written a book, In Two Minds: Stories of Murder, Justice and Recovery from a Forensic Psychiatrist. This is a shocking, eye-opening and grimly fascinating collection of true stories, patients and cases that have characterised a career spent treating mentally disordered offenders
