He is a recognized leader in real estate law with over 13 years of experience across diverse and varied practice areas. He has represented a variety of real estate funds, multinational companies, lenders, borrowers, retailers, institutional and non-institutional real estate investors, developers and operators like Blackstone, Embassy Group, Embassy REIT, Xander Group, Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund, MapleTree, RMZ, Purvankara, Oaktree, Salarpuria, Tata Realty, DivyaSree Group, Avigna and Indospace, among others. Mridul’s key specializations include acquisition and development of real estate projects – residential and commercial, land aggregation for townships and renewable energy projects, warehouse acquisitions and SEZ development. In addition, he regularly advises on security creation and enforcement as part of lending/investment transactions, commercial leasing, title due diligence, structuring, drafting and negotiation of real estate contracts.
