On this episode, Will and Berto sit down with former NFL wide receiver turned abstract artist Ricardo Louis A.K.A "PAPO." We hear about his truly inspiring journey from playing football at Auburn University to getting drafted to the NFL. He opens up about a family death that ultimately pushed him to take his training more seriously which led him becoming a professional athlete. Ricardo talks about the obstacles he faced when getting released multiple times due to injuries and how art became his safe space to escape the toxic suicidal thoughts and resentment he was experiencing from losing the game he loves. Through his artwork, you can see his mental health journey from darkness to light and how each piece has a story behind it, and most importantly, an answer.
