We talked about the case of Dr Rahmeh Aladwan, cleared by one tribunal of any activity that should prevent her from practising medicine, and then immediately called to a new hearing despite no new ‘offence’ having been committed – essentially in response to the health minister Wes Streeting kicking up a stink about the verdict. What is the role of the official Palestine solidarity and trade union movement leadership in all this? Why is Dr Aladwan being vilified in the media and used as a test case by the ruling class? Why is Wes Streeting so desperate to make sure that the (zionist) IHRA’s ‘definition of antisemitism’ is rolled out across the entire NHS?
