Hey there! 👋🏻My name is Dr. Erica Gladney PT, DPT, and I am a pelvic floor physical therapist. I specialize in helping women with pelvic floor dysfunction, specifically things like: ➡️ pelvic pain, or pain with intercourse ➡️ leaking, also known as incontinence ➡️ pelvic organ prolapseI ALSO help moms get ready for labor and delivery AND help moms heal postpartum.🤰🏼One of the biggest misconceptions I come across is that pelvic floor physical therapy is only for people who have had a baby. This is NOT TRUE! ❌Every single one of us has a pelvic floor, and our pelvic floor is SO important because it’s made up of muscles! Just like every other muscle in our body, our pelvic floor has to be dynamic and strong to work with other muscles to provide maximum support and stability for our bodies. 💪🏼If you are struggling with things like leaking urine every time you cough or sneeze, feeling an urge that you can’t control and needing to rush to the bathroom, or if you just had a baby and are trying to figure out how to return to life pre-baby, I want you to know that help is available to you! 👏🏼
