For a small underground music scene that exists on the pits of the suburbian community of Quezon Province, far from the Metro where all avenues and artistic endeavors are always actively present; a movement driven by artistic freedom has been successfully striving for decades now. More than the musicians, artists, and organizers another vital player for the triumphs of these collectives are the people documenting these events.
Behind these lenses that capture a shared experience of catharsis, rage, and bliss are artists themselves who are strongly committed to the craft that they choose, we sat down with two of our friends who have taken their passion for photography inside the underground music scene. Listen as we look back and discuss with Hibi Rea and Marc Balmes the important and most memorable moments they have witnessed on and off their lenses. Get hyped coz we are sure this one will crank you up big time.
