New Year, New Mom - Refresh, Renew, Re-Inspire
Let’s flip the script. If a goal without a plan is just a wish- let’s make a plan! These are all these things that you thought just automatically came with life as an adult and they don't, those are like our new year's resolutions. It sounds really depressing in a way, especially when they don't stick. So let's flip that script. Let's create a goal with a plan. So let's not be wishing that we could do something different in the new year or ever. We don't have to wait until the first day of the year to make a new plan but it's okay if we did. It's okay if it's the middle of the year and we're making a plan it doesn't matter. The point is to make a plan that is totally stickwithable. What do you have to lose? You can join the FREE New Year, New Mom Challenge, and create a great foundation of a system that works for you and your family. Or you can skip it and do what you do every year when the calendar rolls over to the 1st.

Shifting Focus Strategy #4 - Money
I can’t honestly I aspired to become a mother. I pushed myself to finish graduate school directly following a double major and double minor in undergrad. It wasn’t that 👶 🍼 didn’t appeal to me but I had been told not to bother that my body wouldn’t work. When the surprise baby was born, I couldn’t imagine a life without her (and now her two sisters too!). And now, I balance my mom life with my career life by working from home and homeschooling. My kids and husband mean everything to me but the passion to have a career and build things will always burn. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to have it all while still being a Productively Present Parent™.

How to Get Shit Done Like a Super Mom
Becoming a mom is usually surrounded with joy, right?  But it's also easy to use your motherhood as justification for putting all of your life goals and dreams on the back burner. You tell yourself that you're just going to spend these few years with your little one and then eventually you'll go back to work and eventually you'll resume your "normal" life, right? You'll get back to the gym, catch up on your scrapbooks, read all those books. You'll go back to college or grad school or get a new certification, maybe start a new business. You know... all those things, all those goals and dreams that you had before you became a mother. You tell yourself to just live in the moment, enjoy your kiddos, and someday you will have the opportunity to bring back those goals. While all of those thoughts are true, what I have found after being a mother for a decade is that the right time to get yourself back on track for your goals never comes.

Shifting Focus Strategy #3 - Mindset
There Is No One Right Way to Be a Mother Because there is no one right way to be a Super Mom, it's all about your vision of what you want your life to be. Everyone else's vision is going to be different. You must reject the outside pressures to strive for something that you don't want to do or to be. Pinterest is not my favorite place to hang out. Heading to Pinterest to look at decor is one great way to tempt yourself to judge yourself or compare yourself.  Hard stuff happens and will continue happening but life has to go on. Instead of focusing on how things used to be and wishing to go back I want to encourage you to start digging your heels in and developing a “grit” mindset of “stuff's got to get done”. It's just got to get done. You’ve got to be a mom, you’ve got to get up and you have to feed your kids. Listen to Strategy #3 on Mindset in the Shifting Focus Series.

Shifting Focus Strategy #2 - Priorities
Let’s look at shifting your focus by looking at your priorities. Going back in history, there's this thing they call the “American Dream”. It's existed since the beginning of America and I assume it wasn't labeled that but everybody had a dream of what they wanted in life. This evolved into one “generally understood” description of what that ideal life would look like.

My goal is to teach you that our bodies are made to detoxify and cleanse themselves but that they also need support because we live in a modern world where the bad influences can outweigh the good. Achieving Life Goals Becoming More Than Just a Mom
Have you ever had something that changed your life so much that you were so grateful words couldn’t express it? Have you ever not shared that life-changing thing with others? I found myself keeping it to myself and that felt selfish. Dreaming of Being a Stay-at-Home Mom All I wanted was to stay-at-home with my baby but now I’m leading a team of other moms who want the same but they also want something more- better health, more money, more time, and some just want to be a part of something exciting. When my first daughter was born, I had a hard time imagining myself working outside the home and leaving her at daycare but I also loved working. I tried working outside the home but it just didn't work for me. I cried all the time. So I started searching for work-at-home jobs that weren't scams. Super Mom Is Real - How To Find Her
Prior to the onset of my affliction, I had all the perfect systems and routines in place in our lives. A bout with vestibular neuritis left me unable to maintain my normal life--and that meant SuperMom had died. During my struggle there were many days where I wasn’t able to carry my 5-month-old from the bedroom to the nursery, standing upright long enough to play with my kids outside made me sick and I couldn’t get the rest I needed because my room wouldn’t stop spinning day after day, night after night. A condition that should have lasted a few days, maybe a week or two at most, plagued me for months and left me with permanent damage that continued to impact my life for years. As the condition persisted and the reality that this was the new normal for me set in, my inner voice turned on me. https://www.crunchysupermom.com/3-secrets-2020 More on Mastering Mom Life - One Minute at a Time https://www.crunchysupermom.com/blog/031 Join the community https://www.facebook.com/groups/crunchysupermoms

5 Steps to Rock Motherhood Like a Super Mom
There are a lot of ways to get through life but not all of them are ideal. The words mom and overwhelm are so connected that being overwhelmed is just an expectation. It is considered normal. Overwhelm isn't a feeling we should experience persistently as we navigate life. If you are overwhelmed and you know you don't want to exist in such a negative state as you go through your life as a mom, then you are in good company. Crunchy SuperMom has built a community of like-minded moms who just don't believe the image of SuperMom that society tries to paint. The Story of a Real Crunchy Super Mom [029]
How many of you all have ever looked at other moms and thought, “well, she looks perfect so of course, she can get everything done and still have time to be the best mom!" If you have, you’re not alone. It is easy to judge by what we see on the outside and assume the success another mom has isn’t something we can have for ourselves. And the story behind why Sarah started Crunchy Super Mom really began with a huge struggle that is similar to any struggle moms overcome.

The SuperMom Guide to Making Lasting Memories
We want to help you realize that you can make memories and establish traditions that will help your family stay close no matter how old your kids are. Traditions are so important for families and especially children. Research is showing that traditions help build resilience in children. Often traditions revolve around the seasons of the year, but they don’t have to just be seasonal or related to a holiday. You can create daily or weekly traditions like the ones we mentioned on the show. On our PowerPlan for this show, we will be focusing on seasonal traditions, but we encourage you to take it a step further if you can and start a daily or even a weekly tradition. The point is really to be intentional and set up things that your family can look forward to together.
