Hotjar's Josh Morales: Product Research 101

Today we invite you to listen to one of our latest episodes with Josh Morales, the Lead Product Researcher at Hotjar and one of the greatest book readers that I have met.

Josh started his career by acquiring Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Barcelona and during his Masters joined one of the consulting companies as a UX consultant where all the upcoming passion for product research have started. Josh has worked as a Senior User Researcher in companies like HP and N26 and currently is the first-ever product researcher in Hotjar, a behaviour analytics tool for businesses selling online.

During our talk, Josh reveals what Product Research is and what it's not, giving real-life examples and methods that could be beneficial to every PM when working on the new or existing product. We talked about books and products that we're fascinated with and how they could be even improved.
