Gordey Kolesov is a multi-talented Russian boy who is the winner of a Talent show in China. He is a winner of several chess competitions and speaks five languages at such a young age. Krishna Ilyumzhinov, the President of the International Chess Federation (FIDE), called Gordey “the little Buddha of the chess world.“ He took part in several chess qualification tournaments. In April, he won the qualification in Shenzhen and earned the top rank. The young champion received his champion’s cup from Ye Jiangchuan.
