Many people would know Gio as the marketing and membership genius behind CIPS ANZ, a role until just recently he had held for the past 7 years. He may no longer be a driving force behind CIPS, but he is still heavily involved in the buyer-seller sector. 

Scott Wharton FCIPS, is a Group Executive responsible for program delivery at Commonwealth Bank. He is also a former Global CPO with Citibank, responsible for thousands of procurement staff and billions of dollars in spend. His story is one of how procurement experience can lead to other exciting executive roles as the core skill set of procurement is transferable across a range of different functions.
