Barry Mason MBE, the English songwriter. Barry was a leading songwriter of the 1960s, writing plenty of most successful songs in partnership with Les Reed. There were gold and platinum awards for his work including five Ivor Novello Awards, the most recent of them in 1998. Barry passed away in April, 2021.
The Four Tops, the American vocal quartet from Detroit, Michigan who helped to define the city's Motown sound of the 1960s. The group covered soul music, R&B, disco, adult contemporary, doo-wop, jazz, and show tunes.
