On the twenty-seventh episode of the P.O.T.N👑. Podcast Takura was joined by Amir who is a determined, adaptable, and hardworking individual. In his episode, he shares his passions for Aviation, Engineering, and Self-Improvement. Amir takes us on his journey of leaving his native country Bangladesh to study in the United Kingdom, returning to Bangladesh after graduating and then relocating to Canada in the space of six years. He shares positive experiences he went through as he arrived in Canada and how studying and living in Canada has helped him reach new levels of productivity and stress management. He shares with us how he has successfully managed to juggle working three jobs, studying for his postgraduate degree, training to be a pilot, and learning Japanese. He also shares his experiences of dealing with stress and depression, and how he approached adversity during those tough times. He tells us that it’s important to remember what you have achieved and overcome to get to where you are right now. He believes our past should inspire us to make ourselves better. He urges us to always have a positive mindset, find someone we trust to share our troubles with, reflect on things we experience, and remember that failure is learning. He goes on to say we should use failure to plan to go forward and always be willing to learn from our mistakes. Going forward, he is eager to learn more about business management, leadership, and how to become an effective communicator. Additionally, he is excited about the future because he is excited to see what is in store for him. He believes planning is essential but our ability to adapt to different situations is critical because things won’t always go according to plan. In terms of productivity, Amir advises us all to always write down what we want to achieve, set goals, and build commitment toward completing tasks. In his closing remarks, Amir encourages all listeners to set goals, take the time to find our purpose in life, reflect, and work extremely hard.
