This week on the podcast we have James Property on. James is a great guy from Yorkshire, who was studying to become a lecturer in sports science and nutrition before investing in property full time and now primarily invests in HMOs in Hull!

On this episode we talk to James about how he started investing whilst at university, what got him into property and how he balanced his time alongside a masters degree. As well as this we discuss the different types of design for different strategies e.g. HMOs, BTLs or Flips.

Furthermore we speak about what it's like to live on a refurbishment project whilst it is in progress and how you can learn a lot about refurbs in a short space of time by doing this. Finally, we discuss why James has chosen to refinance onto a capital repayment mortgage for his properties so far and the benefits of doing this.
