
Matt, who works as a copywriter, is determined to write a rom-com. But he's at a loss as to how to even begin. As a result of attending a writers workshop, he meets Jessie, who suggests he treat it as a research project, like a field trial when he's introducing a new product at work. She proposes, as a subject for the trial, a blind date with her best friend, Nora, who's had a string of terrible online dating experiences, figuring, at the very least, this could get Nora away from online dating.
