Wayne Gibbs joins our host Alex Umole to discuss Social Justice and the church. Wayne has experience working with churches worldwide in his current role with Compassion International and collaboration with church leaders. He believes local Pentecostal churches should seek solutions but be careful not to forge unproductive partnerships. He argues that the church's primary responsibility is to preach the gospel, and our core approach should be to address the issues of the heart.  

Preach Freedom is a conversation starter featuring ordinary people such as laity, pastors, and professionals in secular workplaces having honest and unfiltered conversations about social justice and the church's role. The ideas and perspectives discussed are then contextualized to South Florida to seek ways local Pentecostal churches can embrace new strategies in social justice to impact the lives of people in society beyond the four walls of the church.
