Jennifer Ulysse joins our host Alex Umole to discuss her background and views on the church's role in social justice. She believes the church should start in the place of prayer and not just stop there but go forward in cultivating partnerships with stakeholders in the community for social justice with a willingness to listen. However, she argues that the church has to engage in social justice and then bring issues into a Christ-centered context.
Preach Freedom is a conversation starter featuring ordinary people such as laity, pastors, and professionals in secular workplaces having honest and unfiltered conversations about social justice and the church's role. The ideas and perspectives discussed are then contextualized to South Florida to seek ways local Pentecostal churches can embrace new strategies in social justice to impact the lives of people in society beyond the four walls of the church.
