
Key scriptures on testifying
John 15:26-27: Jesus says the Holy Spirit will testify about him, and his followers will also testify because they have been with him from the beginning.
Acts 1:8: Jesus tells his followers, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth".
Acts 20:24: The Apostle Paul declares his commitment to finishing his ministry, which includes "to testify the gospel of the grace of God".
1 John 4:14: John writes, "And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world".
John 3:11: Jesus states, "Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know and we testify to what we have seen, yet you do not receive our testimony".
Revelation 12:11: It speaks of believers triumphing "by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony".
