"The Lord Whom We Waited For"
Isaiah 25:9
New International Version
9 In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”
Isaiah 25:9 states, "In that day they will say, 'Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.'"
This verse offers a beautiful picture of hope and faith. It speaks of a future time when God will fulfill His promises, bringing salvation and joy to His people. The trust placed in God is central to our relationship with Him. Just as thepeople in Isaiah’s time looked forward to their deliverance, we too can hold on to the assurances that come from faith in God.
In your own life, reflect on times when you have felt God's presence or experienced His saving grace. Trusting in God during difficult times can lead to a deep sense of peace and joy. Like those in Isaiah’s vision, we too can rejoice in knowing that our God is with us, saving us from despair and leadingus into hope.
Let this verse encourage you to continue trusting in God's plan for your life, drawing strength from His promises, and nurturing a heart of gratitude for His salvation.
